Elton John wants to adopt

Elton John has finally decided to adopt a little bundle of job for himself. Saturday while touring a local Ukrainian orphanage the entertainer fell in love with a little boy named Lev. At first John was resistant to adopting a child even though his partner, David Furnish, wanted them. In a statement to People he said that upon meeting the little one "I've changed my mind . . . I would love to adopt him." He added ""I don't know how we would do that but he has stolen my heart."

The orphanage is a place for children who have lost their parents to AIDS. John's visit was a part of the Elton John AIDS foundation. John is not the only star to take to adopting a child some media favorites include Madonna and Angelina Jolie.

However the singer is aware that their may be some problems in adopting the Ukrainian child. According to Associated Press he mentioned, "I don't know what the procedure is to adopt a boy from the Ukraine. I don't think I can because England doesn't have a treaty with the Ukraine."
