Eminem #1 Album Seller This Decade

Eminem sold 31,127,000 albums this decade, making him the best-selling record artist in the United States within the 2000s.

Eminem is domestically set to be the best-selling artist, both in rap and overall, in this decade, according to Yahoo! Music.

Since Jan. 2000, he has sold 31,127,000 albums nationwide. His fifth studio album, "Relapse," became available on May 19 and sold 608,000 copies in its first week of release. "Relapse 2," his next album, is slated for a 2009 release. If it debuts this year, then it would only further bolster his standing.

Eminem, 36, was first charted in 1999 when he released his major-label debut, "The Slim Shady LP." The first week sales of that album do not contribute to this decade's record, but any further album sales in the 2000s qualify. His second album, "The Marshall Mathers LP," which was released in 2000, sold 10,178,000 copies in the United States.

The Beatles placed second, selling 27,591,000 records within this decade. Britney Spears came in at #5 with 22,937,000 copies, Jay-Z at #10 with 19,379,000 and *NSYNC at #16 with 18,402,000.
