Eminem Back in the Studio
Rapper Eminem looks to be back in the studio working on his first album in three years, BBC News reports.
Eminem prank called his own radio station, Shade 45, and pretended to be an up and coming rapper named Jason from Miami. Guest on DJ Tony Touch's show was LL Cool J, and Eminem challenged him to a impromptu game of "Name That Tune." His fellow rapper did not realize Eminem was in fact on the line until he challenged him to name the lyrics of the tune "Lose Yourself."
Jokes aside, Eminem finally revealed that "Everything is good. I'm just in the studio right now working on songs and stuff like that."
The news supports what rapper 50 Cent speculated last month to Blender magazine. Stating that he heard some of Eminem's new songs, the rapper stated: "Michael Jordan was supposed to play basketball. Floyd Mayweather was meant to box. And Eminem was meant to rap."
In the prank phone call to his radio station, Eminem also revealed that he is a big fan of LL Cool J. "When are we going to hang out? I've got cable in my house," Eminem quipped.
