Eminem Has a "Relapse" Back into His Music
Guess who's back? Back again?
Eminem officially announced his "Relapse" back into the world of hip-hop and the name of his new album, reports Reuters.
The big announcement reportedly came during Thursday night's Sirius radio launch party for his book, The Way I Am.
The Oscar winner let loose that the album would be called Relapse and even introduced the album's title song, "I'm Having a Relapse."
Eminem took the time with Shade 45 hosts Kayslay and Angela Yee to announce the real title for his upcoming sixth album as he says, "There's a lot of album titles floating around that are fake album titles."
Unfortunately, the announcement of Relapse's existence didn't come with a release date. But reportedly, if rumors hold true, the album could be on the shelves in time for Christmas.
If the artist's former record sales are any clue, the much-awaited album will be successful as the rapper has gained a steady fan base.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, 2005's Curtain Call: The Hits sold 2.9 million copies here in the United States and 2004's Encore totaled 5.1 million copies.
