Eminem reveals that the Bruno stunt was all staged

Judging from Eminem's infamous rough and rude attitude, one might be shocked to learn that the apparent disgust he portrayed for Sacha Baron Cohen's stunt at the MTV Movie Awards was all fake—and yet it was in its entirety, reports NME.com.

Eminem says he was "thrilled" that the stunt went according to plan, as he and Cohen had rehearsed a few months before. Of course no other audience member at the awards show could have known that Eminem's reaction to Cohen and his Bruno angel wings landing on his face was staged, so the entire ceremony was in an uproar.

Eminem states that he is a "big fan" of Cohen's work and was glad to get an opportunity to be involved with the gag. MTV.com reports that after Eminem left the ceremony he "laughed uncontrollably for about three hours."

Despite the crazy antics at the awards, Eminem found some misfortune by discovering his hotel room was burglarized. The MC has stated that the damage has been repaired.
