It seems that Hermione Granger did have a thing for Draco Malfoy, after all. Emma Watson is making her media rounds for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, due out July 15, and is sharing secrets from her Potter years.

“For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton,” Watson told Seventeen. “He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.”

She told Vogue that she and her Potter co-star, Daniel Radcliffe, often leaned on each other for dating advice. They would help each other compose text messages to their most recent crushes.

“It was certainly a case of the blind leading the blind, but it was extremely funny,” she said.

Watson went on to tell Seventeen that she loves to be active in her down time, playing field hockey and tennis. She also talked about her experience living in dorms at university.

“Reducing your life down to three pairs of jeans, two skirts, a couple of shirts, and a few pairs of shoes was so nice for me,” she said. “I really loved living in this tiny room where I didn’t have space for anything. It sounds really lame, but it made me feel a lot more free because I just didn’t have as many choices.”
