The End of "Hannah Montana"?
Hannah Montana tween fanatics may be getting some sad news according to speculation that the hot Disney show may soon come to an end.
In an interview with E! News, the hit show's star, Miley Cyrus, confessed that this upcoming season may be their last. According to Cyrus, the two seasons and upcoming third season she spent on the set "seems like it's been on, like, longer."
Although Cyrus made the comments in an interview that will air on Tuesday, her publicist is continuing to deny plans that the show is coming to a close, reports the Daily News. Disney representative, Patti McTeague, confirmed that the third season will be filmed, but left questions about the fourth season up in the air.
"We start production on the third season of Hannah Montana on Aug. 4 and have an option for a fourth season beyond that," McTeague said. "We look forward to the Hannah Montana feature film coming to a theater near you in Spring 2009."
Although the 15-year-old pop sensation may be leaving her double life as Hannah Montana, the teen rock star, and her television life as a regular girl, she still has a place in her heart for Disney.
"They always feel like home, and that's what I love about the company. They are family."
