Britney Spears experienced a minor setback this week when she announced on Good Morning America that she would be touring with Enrique Iglesias, only for him to mysteriously pull out hours later.
The singer has been on somewhat of a media tour promoting her new album, Femme Fatale, and her summer tour will be the icing on the cake.
MTV is set to air Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale on April 3, and during an interview for the special, Spears tells Sway Calloway that she would love to tour with “OMG” singer Usher.
Of her upcoming tour, she said, "Oh, I'm so excited. I'm really excited about going on tour, very. I think Usher's really great right now. I think he's really hot right now. That would be cool [to tour with him]."
As for the Iglesias mix-up, X17 Online reports that the Spanish singer tweeted an apology.
"Hey guys, sorry for the confusion regarding a possible tour in the summer with Britney Spears. We are on the Euphoria tour and will continue to do so including some soon-to-be-announced dates in US. So hope to see all of you soon,” he said.
Spears’ tour will kick off in California on June 17 and end in Toronto on August 13.
