The latest star to join Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew is Eric Roberts, the Huffington Post has announced.
In 1987, Roberts was arrested for cocaine and marijuana possession. He continued his struggle with cocaine addiction through the 90s, when he was accused of domestic abuse multiple times. There is no word yet on what kind of addiction he will be battling on the VH1 show.
Roberts joins troubled star Jeremy London, whose wife, also being treated by Dr. Drew, recently suffered from a brain hemorrhage.
It seems like London and Roberts will be spending some quality time together, as London said that "Eric Roberts is my roommate and is simply amazing. He's an incredible person."
Roberts, who is the father of actress Emma, 19, and older brother of Julia, has had many starring roles in film. He played Salvatore Maroni in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight, and he also had a recurring role on NBC’s Heroes.
Roberts was nominated for an Academy Award in 1985 for his supporting role in Runaway Train.
