Eva Longoria Speaks Out About NBA Love

The ABC star says she's "the teacher" in her relationship with basketball star Tony Parker, who is 8 years her junior -- but she likes that just fine.

Sounds like the lucky Longoria isn't so "Desperate" after all.

"Desperate Housewives"' Eva Longoria told "Allure" magazine it was "lust at first sight" when she met boyfriend Tony Parker, a point guard for the San Antonio Spurs. But, though she's ready to settle down, she likes their relationship as it is.

The French born Parker, 23, "has only been with one other person in his life," said Longoria, 31, a former soap star who was divorced from General Hospital's Tyler Christopher last year after three years of marriage. "I'm the teacher, especially about love."

She says he's not willing to have a child with her out of wedlock -- but that's fine for now.

"But we know exactly what we want in our future," Longoria said. "Our children will speak French."

Catch La Eva Sunday nights on ABC or opposite Michael Douglas in big screen thriller "The Sentinel" in April.
