Experience American Idol at Disney

Disney World has plans to construct an American Idol attraction.

Disney has announced that by the end of this year, American Idol wannabes will get a chance to try out daily at the Walt Disney World resort in Florida, E! News reported. Visitors of the theme park will be able to participate and perform in an attraction modeled after the American Idol stage. Every day, the best singers, according to E!, will get a chance to actually move on to real auditions for the next season of AI.

The Associated Press-reported American Idol attraction will be a part of Disney's Hollywood Studios, formerly known as Disney-MGM.

Jay Rasulo, a Disney Parks chairman, said to the AP, "Our goal is to try to recreate the excitement of those 24 people who show up on that American Idol stage. We believe many, many viewers want to know exactly how that feels, and we're going to try to reproduce that feeling for them."
