Fabulous Foursome Comes to the Big Screen
The sexy New York foursome is coming to the big screen for the first time on Monday for the world premiere of the Sex and the City movie in London. The film picks up four years after the series left off, according to Reuters. Star and Producer of the film Sarah Jessica Parker had a tough time getting the women together again, due to various issues such as Kim Cattrall's divorce, Reuters reports.
According to the official Sex and the City movie Web site, the movie picks up as Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) is working as a contributing editor for Vogue, and is working on her fourth book. Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is living with husband Harry on Park Avenue and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) and her actor boyfriend are in Los Angeles. Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) is concentrating on motherhood and husband Steve in Brooklyn. Chris Noth returns as Mr. Big, and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, playing the role of Carrie's assistant Louise, is a new addition to the cast, as reported by Reuters.
