The social networking site is working hard to keep president's image

Facebook executives are working hard to protect the image of president and founder Mark Zuckerberg from his portrayal in the upcoming movie The Social Network.

The movie alludes to Zuckerberg's possible theft of the idea of Facebook from fellow classmates. It also makes him out to be socially inept and awkward.

Prior to the film's release, Facebook Inc. attempted damage control by going through the script and providing producers with additional information about Zuckerberg's life.

Facebook Inc. is in support of a book in the works called The Facebook Effect, which should give a much more flattering view of the company as well as its founder.

Zuckerburg himself has declined comment, and will not see the film.
