Family Guy Spin-Off

Fox is currently in the process of creating a new spin-off show from "Family Guy."

According to Reuters, Fox is in the process of developing a spin-off show from the popular animated series, Family Guy, which will star Peter's slow-talking neighbor, Cleveland Brown.

The show is tentatively called Cleveland and features the same team responsible for writing and producing Family Guy, including Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy, Mike Henry, who is the voice of Cleveland, and Rich Appel, executive producer of MacFarlane's other animated show, American Dad.

Family Guy was once canceled by Fox, but returned to the network in 2005. It has since been Fox's top-rated comedy and has turned into a $1 billion franchise, according to Reuters.

Cleveland is said to focus on the Brown family, but there is no information on whether Cleveland's ex-wife, Loretta Brown, or their son, Cleveland Jr., will play any major roles.

Cleveland will be the first spin-off of the Family Guy series, according to E! News.
