Famous Hollywood scenes recreated by kids

Just when you thought kids couldn't get any cuter, someone comes up with another idea.

The Daily Mail reported Long Island, N.Y. photographer Tricia Masseroux's latest project is turning children into celebrities without exploiting them.

Titled "Toddlewood," Masseroux takes 3 to 6-year-olds and stages them to recreate famous Hollywood scenes such as Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah's couch and Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Other moments include Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres'S wedding photo, Madonna's Like a Virgin album cover, and Barack Obama's presidential inauguration.

According to Yahoo, Masseroux is careful to keep things appropriate.

"I make sure that every one of the images I shoot are always rated G -- I never go risque," she said.

"I never put kids in a position I wouldn't want my daughter in....They're playing dress up -- they have a lot of fun."

She started the project in 2008 and now has more than 50 images. The children in the photos are paid and "carefully selected, styled, dressed and positioned to re-create a highly recognized celebrity or historical event," according to her website.

Masseroux donates the proceeds shes makes from selling the photos to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
