Now that Steven Soderbergh has cast just about every attractive male actor ever for his male stripper buddy comedy Magic Mike, the Oscar-nominated director has turned his attention to the film's leading lady.
According to Vulture, geek goddess Olivia Munn has been chosen to join the beautiful people club that is Magic Mike, a group that includes Matthew McConaughey, White Collar's Matthew Bomer and Channing Tatum.
The beefcake flick focuses on the life of an up-and-coming male stripper, played by Tatum, and is loosely based on the G.I. Joe actor's real-life stint with erotic entertainment.
Deadline reports that Beastly Brit Alex Pettyfer plays Tatum's protoge, while True Blood's Joe Mangianello will also add his abs and acting skills to the cast.
Munn, who's next big-screen venture is opposite Sarah Jessica Parker in the admittedly girlier I Don't Know How She Does It, will play the love interest for Tatum's character.
She's also set to star in Aaron Sorkin's HBO pilot More As the Story Develops and continues to be a correspondent for The Daily Show.
