Fans still writing to jailed Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan may feel alone behind bars, but her fans have certainly not forgotten her.
According to the nydailynews.com, Lohan is receiving 250 fan letters a day.
Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore explained that Lohan will have a lot of reading to do once she is released. "You only get 10 letters at any one time, and deliveries are only once or twice a day," Whitmore said. "Most inmates don't get anywhere near that kind of mail. It will be given to her or an associate when she leaves."
The actress is serving a 90 day sentence followed by 90 days in inpatient rehab for violating probation. She began her sentence on July 20.
Lohan’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley commented to People.com after visiting the starlet Thursday, "She's looking forward to her release. It's a light at the end of the tunnel."
Chapman Holley also told People that she is "not exactly sure" when Lohan will be released.
