Farrah Fawcett Left Out of Oscar's Tribute

At Sunday’s Academy Awards, Farrah Fawcett was noticeably left out during the tribute to those who died last year, reports Usmagazine.com

The actress passed away in June at age 62 from cancer. She was a '70s sex symbol, known for her role on the Charlie’s Angels television show. She did appear in a few movies, including “The Cannonball Run,” “Extremities” and “The Apostle.”

Star Jones noticed that snub and Twittered, “FYI...Farrah had a very diverse career...that included Broadway, TV & Film. She even received a Golden Globe nom."

Bea Arthur, star of the hit television show Golden Girls’ died last April at the age of 86 was also left out of the tribute.

Some stars who were featured in the memorial were Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze, and Brittany Murphy.

During the montage of late actors, James Taylor performed “Your Smiling Face.”

Iconic '80s director John Hughes was honored during a separate tribute by some of the actors who appeared in some of his movies, including Molly Ringwald, Matthew Broderick and Macaulay Culkin. Hughes died of a heat attack last August at 59.
