The Fashion Show Takes On Bravo

Grab the best up-and-coming designers, assign a theme, place a time limit, restrict the amount of materials, and make it a competition. Sound familiar?

If you're thinking Project Runway, you're absolutely correct. After five successful seasons on Bravo, the hit show plans to make its sixth season debut on Lifetime on Aug. 20.

While Runway makes its move, The Fashion Show slides in to take its spot.

Though Bravo will miss the fierce Heidi Klum, internationally acclaimed designer Isaac Mizrahi and musician Kelly Rowland will host Fashion.

Similar to Runway, The Fashion Show features 15 designers who will be put to the test to create the most innovative outfits. Each week, after the judges confer with one another, one fashionista will be given the boot. The winner will have their designs sold in the retail market and bring in a $125,000 prize.
