Father of Former "Idol" Star Arrested Again

The father of former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler was arrested again May 18, accused of stealing abandoned and disabled vehicles and selling them to scrap yards illegally, reports the Associated Press.

Clyde Pickler, 42, finished three years in prison in Florida last year for stabbing a man. This time, he was charged with three counts of larceny of a motor vehicle and one count of obtaining property under false pretenses, both felonies.

C. Pickler would say he had legal ownership of the vehicles. He remains in the Stanly County jail on a $26,000 bond, and has a July 9 court date. He also has a Thursday court date for operating a vehicle without a license, a misdemeanor charge, and a June 12 court date for another misdemeanor larceny charge.
