Fawcett Still Struggles with Cancer

Farrah Fawcett has been hospitalized in Los Angeles, but is doing okay.

Model and former wife of actor Lee Majors, Farrah Fawcett, admitted herself to a Los Angeles hospital during the latest stage of her battle with cancer, according to CNN.

Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006. The disease went into remission in 2007, but returned later that year. Currently, Fawcett's condition is fair, according to spokesperson Craig Nevius.

"She is not unconscious, she is not unresponsive, and she is not comatose," said Nevius.

The 62-year-old had been working on a documentary about her struggle with cancer. The model was best known for her bit parts, in such shows as The Six Million Dollar Man, and commercials, until she gained notoriety for her bestselling pin-up poster in 1976. Fawcett was also featured in the Aaron Spelling hit TV show, Charlie's Angels. Due to the success of her poster, Fawcett was the series' breakout star. It was the first of what came to be known as "jiggle TV," an inspiration for the newer generations of Three's Company and Baywatch.
