Fergie and Josh Duhamel Set a Wedding Date

Saucy member of the band, the Black Eyed Peas, and successful solo artist Fergie and NBC's Las Vegas star Josh Duhamel have finally set a date for their nuptials.

According to an article on People.com, "Fergie and Josh Duhamel have made a special New Year's resolution: a Los Angeles-area wedding on Jan. 10."

According to MSNBC.com, "A little more than a year after getting engaged, Fergie, 33, and Josh Duhamel, 36, will tie the knot in a January wedding ceremony. . . . The star couple will wed during the weekend of January 9 in Southern California."

Duhamel first found acting success while playing the role of "Leo du Pres," on the ABC soap opera All My Children, where he stayed from 1999 to 2002. After leaving the soap to pursue other acting opportunities, in 2003 he won the role he is best known for, that of "Danny McCoy," on NBC's prime-time series, Las Vegas. As for Duhamel's motion picture credits, he has starred in such films as Transformers, Turistas and Win a Date with Tad Hamilton.

Duhamel has just finished shooting the romantic comedy, When in Rome, alongside Kristen Bell, Jon Heder and Dax Shepard.

As for Fergie, whose real name is Stacey Ferguson, from 1991 to 2001 she was a member of a female rock band known as the Wild Orchids. In 2003, Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am invited Fergie to try out for a song called "Shut Up." Subsequently, Fergie was offered a permanent spot in the band.

Following two successful albums with the band, Fergie struck out as a solo artist and her first solo record, named The Dutchess, was released on Sept, 19, 2006. Yet, Fergie's solo deal does not mean she has vacated her spot in the Black Eyed Peas and she intends to remain with the group.

Outside of her musical accomplishments, Fergie has just finished production in Europe on a big screen musical adaptation of Nine. Her costars include Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Sophia Loren and Marion Cotillard.

Both Kidman and Hudson are set to attend the nuptials.
