Longtime Fight Magazine writer Bear Frazer has taken his years of covering the MMA world and turned it into a set of movie scripts in hopes of creating the first MMA movie franchise.
The Bam Theory follows the life of fictional fighter Bam Thomas as he works to achieve his dream of fighting in the UFC, all the while dealing with the very real life issues fighters go through on a daily basis.
Frazer is hoping to raise the funds to start work on the first film through Kickstarter.com, and the offerings he has for potential backers illustrate how much the MMA community supports him and this project.
With autographs from world-renowned fighters Carlos Condit and Jake Shields, as well as Combat Gear co-owner Zoltan Bathory (who is also the guitarist in the band Five Finger Death Punch), the MMA world’s support of Frazer is a clear indication that they feel he’s going to represent MMA correctly.
