Finder of New Moon Script to Walk Down Red Carpet
A St. Louis beauty salon owner found the New Moon movie script, TMZ reported.
In May Casey Ray, owner of "Salon K," found the movie script for the film New Moon in a dumpster. Afterward Ray tried selling it to different magazines, and was even offered a great amount of money from one tabloid magazine but said they were acting too shady.
Instead of selling it on the internet or to a magazine Ray, who is engaged and has the marriage pending, decided to return it to the Hollywood studio.
Ray contacted the movie studios where "New Moon" was filmed and was given a reward for her good deed.
The production company, Summit Entertainment, gave her two tickets for the premiere of the film "New Moon" in Los Angeles, where she will walk down the red carpet and receive a signed copy of the script by the main actors and the writer. Ray also received an invitation to the after party on November 16.
Ray told reporters the traveling expenses are too much as she will have to pay $1,200 for the roundtrip tickets in addition to the hotel and food expenses.
