Finland Boy Arrested for School Threat on YouTube

A Finland boy was arrested for depiction of his school in an imitation of the shooting which occurred last Wednesday.

Last Wednesday in Jokela Southern Finland, 18 year old Pekka-Eric Auvinen shot and killed 6 students and 2 staff members, before shooting himself. Before the shooting occurred, a video was posted on YouTube portraying a picture of the school and 2 photos of a young man holding a handgun. A 16 year old Finnish boy was detained Friday for posting a video on YouTube which depicts his school in an imitation of the video linked with the Jokula school shooting. The name of this boy's 30 second long video was "Maaninka Massacre" and showed the teenager's "school and a person with a weapon in hand", a police spokesman said. Finnish broadcaster YLE said the boy told police that the video of his school was just a joke. Although police have not said whether the suspect was still in custody, he remains under investigation and his computer has been confiscated.
