First ‘Top Chef’ to Tie the Knot

Chef Harold Dieterle will wed Meredith Lynn Davies next weekend.

Top Chef Harold Dieterle will be packing his bags and going to Atlanta next weekend to marry his girlfriend, Meredith Lynn Davies. According to People, the couple will tie the knot in Davies’ hometown on Sept. 4 at the Capital City Country Club.

They will celebrate their union with a honeymoon in Italy, where they will visit Rome, Positano, and Sicily.

Winning Bravo's reality series Top Chef in 2006 not only gave Dieterle fame and prizes, it also help him land his soon-to-be wife.

One of the rewards for being named the show’s best chef was a trip to Aspen, Colorado’s Food and Wine Classic. It was there that he met Davies at an after-party.

When the couple returns from Italy, Dieterle will open up a casual Thai restaurant in New York City called Kin Shop.

The 33-year-old launched his other NYC restaurant, Perilla, in 2007 after his reality show win.
