First Actors to Sign onto "Tron 2.0": Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett

The first in what will be a series of actors for the new Disney film, "Tron 2.0," have been selected.

Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett are among the first actors to join in on the cast of the upcoming sequel to the '80s Disney favorite, Tron, to be called Tron 2.0, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The ladies, who starred together in the 2006 film, Turistas, are the first to sign onto the film, which is currently set to be directed by Joseph Kosinski. Bits of the film were shown at this year's Comic-Con, which created ample early buzz for the film.

Wilde will play a worker in the virtual world who tries to fight the Master Control Program - the evil intelligence protocol from the original film - while Garrett will assume the mantle of a sexy siren of the virtual world. It would seem that no matter the setting, ground-level employees/peons, "the man," and objectified women are omnipresent.

Wilde can be seen on House every week on FOX, although she is in the upcoming film, Year One, in 2009, and will play the part of Princess Inanna. Garrett was last seen in Made of Honor, from earlier this year.
