The Fonz auctioning off motorcycle

If there was ever a time for Happy Days fans and motorcyclists to come together, this would be it.

The Examiner reported Aurthur Fonzarelli's 1949 Triumph Trophy TR5 will be auctioned off next month.

The motorcycle hasn't been ridden since it was last used for the show in 1984. For the past 15 years, it's just been sitting in a motorcycle shop, whose owner had no idea of its iconic past.

"The bike in its present condition couldn't pull the skin of a rice pudding," Bonhams auctioneer Nick Smith said, according to the Scoop.

"It has an unknown mileage because the speedo[meter] is broken and it hasn't worked in years."

The ride is estimated to fetch at least $90,000 when it is sold November 12 in Los Angeles. Would you pay $90,000 for a motorcycle that doesn't even run or do you think the number is a little ludicrous?
