Forget Foreclosure--Octomom Looks to Buy Million Dollar Home

TMZ confirmed Thursday afternoon that octuplet mom Nadya Suleman is looking to buy a home listed for $1.24 million dollars. This would hardly be news if not for earlier reports that she is tens of thousands of dollars behind in mortgage payments on the two-bedroom home she shares with her parents and six other children.

The home that Suleman visited early Thursday is located in Whittier, California. It has 4 bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms and a pool. Despite nearing foreclosure on her own home, Suleman is considered a serious buyer: The owner canceled showings today specifically because the "octomom" wanted to see the residence. If her media ventures do pile up enough dough for her to buy the million dollar home, we hope there is enough left over to put up safety gates around the pool; according to the Century 21 listing, there aren't any.
