Forget Spears v. Federline; Sheen v. Richards Is the New Celebrity Battle!

The drama between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline may be subsiding, yet that will not prevent an alternate feud between two other celebrities from rising.

Charlie Sheen, star of Two and a Half Men, and actress Denise Richards are currently involved in a dispute regarding divorce and custody. Richards's appearance on the Today show with Matt Lauer will only serve to complicate matters.

Richards discussed with Lauer an e-mail that was supposedly written to Sheen's fiancee Brooke Mueller that requested a sperm donation from her ex-husband so she could have children. Richards dismissed the letter as "false" and noted that at the time, she was involved with Richie Sambora, guitarist for Bon Jovi.

According to OK! Magazine, Richards also added, "What Charlie doesn't know is that on the date of that e-mail, I found out through my mother's doctor that she had two to six months to live; I was not looking to get pregnant, especially by my ex-husband."

In response to Richards's claims, Sheen accused Richards of harassing him and his fiancee and described her as "desperate."

Lauer then discussed Richards's new reality show, an instance in which Charlie went to court to prevent his daughters from being on. While Richards said that Sheen initially signed the waiver that she needed, he later changed his mind and took the case to court. The judge ultimately decided in her favor.

These events have done their part in increasing the rift between the two; to Richards, Sheen has become a "stranger" to her.
