Former Idol Gets Reality Show
Third season American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is the latest star to get her own reality show. According to starpulse.com, VH1has said they will begin following and filming the singer, and hopes to premiere the show next year.
The series will show the star in every day life, how she deals with her career, and, as VH1 said, how she'll deal with the "seismic aftershocks of fame."
"Fantasia's life has been an open book, but at 24 years old, her story has just begun. We look forward to smashing expectations and revealing the fresh, funny and unexpected side of this one-of-a kind country girl and superstar," Executive Producer Randy Barbato said.
Barrino has written an autobiography entitled Life Is Not a Fairy Tale and has starred in a made-for-TV movie based on her life. She also starred in an on-stage version of The Color Purple, and is currently working on her third album.
