Former "Idol" LaKisha Jones Gets Hitched
In Beverly Hills.
LaKisha Jones, former contestant on Fox's American Idol, married on Sunday.
The singer, who originally hails from Flint, Mich., tied the knot with financial advisor Larry Davis in a ceremony that took place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
At the ceremony were some of Jones's fellow contestants on the mega-popular reality show, including Melinda Doolittle, Sanjaya Malakar and Haley Scarnato.
Jones was kicked off American Idol as the fourth-runner up. She was given high marks for her soulful singing ability, but marked down for her performance and song choice (which seems to be common on Idol). Jones's new album will come out in February 2009.
Jones and Davis will have their honeymoon in Barbados.
