Former Jackass Star Brings Grenade to Airport

Johnny Knoxville, the former Jackass star known for tricks, pranks and bodily injury, was detained in the Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday, after security screeners found what appeared to be a hand grenade in his carry-on bag.

The bomb squad was brought in. Following the investigation, Knoxville was released and able to board his American Airlines flight to Miami. According to Access Hollywood, there hasn't yet been any charges but there will be a misdemeanor complaint filed for bringing a prohibited item in the airport.

The Associated Press reported that Knoxville told police that the bomb was just a prop from a photo shoot and he forgot it was in his bag. Stunt or genuine mistake? Your call.
