Jim McGreevey's former driver reveals information about the McGreeveys' "Friday Night Specials."

After the recent media flurry over the prostitution scandal of Democratic Governor Eliot Spitzer, it seems like a whole bunch of other people have got skeletons in their closets. It's hard to know what's true and what isn't, or what's exaggerated and what's understated. Everyone just wants a piece of the media action.

Well, the former driver of former Governor Jim McGreevey, has recently released a statement claiming he had three-way sexual intercourse with the former Governor of New Jersey and his now-estranged wife, Dina Matos McGreevey.

Jim McGreevey left office in 2004, when he revealed that he had an extramarital affair with another man, and that he was in fact a homosexual. The Daily News reports that Ted Pedersen, McGreevey's former driver, said that he and the McGreeveys had sex parties every Friday, both before and after the pair's wedding in 2001. The parties were called "Friday Night Specials."

That's a little suspicious there, Ted. Why go public now?

Pedersen claims his decision to release this information was because Dina Matos McGreevey portrayed herself as an innocent victim in TV interviews that were related to Spitzer's recent hooker scandal. He also was subpoenaed by Matos McGreevey in her and her husband's intense divorce battle, in which Matos claims her husband knew all along that he was gay, and that their marriage was enacted merely to further Jim's political career.

Pedersen claims he never had sex with Jim McGreevey, only Matos McGreevey while Jim watched, according to the Daily News. He says he would have kept quiet about the sex, seeing as he has a longtime girlfriend, but he made allegations in a sworn deposition in court.
