Joe Francis faces charges in Florida related to filming underage girls.

According to the Associated Press, "Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis plans to go to Florida court, facing charges of filming topless, underage girls. Francis is being released from jail in Nevada to be able to make his court appearance in Florida. Francis is being held in Reno on federal tax fraud charges.

Francis has made a fortune making videos of topless, young women in scandalous situations. He is to appear in court with his lawyers in Panama City, on Wednesday, to face charges regarding the filming of girls during spring break in 2003. He currently faces four felony and two misdemeanor charges related to the spring break filming.

Francis's lawyers claim the underage women lied about their ages to a cameraman, and added that none of the footage of the underage girls was used. The spring break incident sparked a civil lawsuit by seven women.
