Foxworthy Sticking with "5th Grader"
When Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader rolls into syndication in 2009, Jeff Foxworthy will be there with the show.
In addition to hosting the prime-time version of the FOX game show, which is produced by Mark Burnett Productions and Zoo Productions, Foxworthy will also be seen in the day time version as well. An official announcement of such news will be released in a couple days.
Twentieth Television bought the daytime rights to the show after an intense bidding war, and now Burnett's production company (the same one that produces Survivor) will produce under Twentieth.
Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader is the second hour-long reality show to add a daytime version in the past year, with Deal or No Deal being the other.
You can now see Howie Mandel's bald head in that show during the day time, five times a week if you so choose. And soon enough, you will be able to see Jeff Foxworthy on a daily basis as well.
