Freeman "Looking Forward to a Full Recovery"
Morgan Freeman is said to be in good spirits after his Sunday night car accident left him in serious condition in a Memphis, Tennessee hospital, said Donna Lee, the actor's rep, Monday, according to People online.
The accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Sunday in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. According to Mississippi highway patrol, Freeman, 71, was removed from the wreckage by the jaws of life, then airlifted from the scene to Regional Medical Center in Memphis.
The police has identified Freeman's passenger, Demaris Meyer.
According to People online, rep Donna Lee said, "He has a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage but he is in good spirits. He is going to have surgery this afternoon or tomorrow to correct the damage. He says he'll be okay and is looking forward to a full recovery."
