Friends throw Kate Hudson her baby shower

This past Sunday, Kate Hudson was showered with gifts from close friends at the actress' baby shower in a private home in Malibu. Hudson, who is pregnant with her second child, was just recently engaged to Matt Bellamy, frontman of the band Muse.

The star-studded celebration was hosted by 90210 star Sara Foster and Jennifer Meyer, who is the wife of actor Tobey Maguire.

Over 60 of Hudson's closest friends were invited, including A-list celebs such as Nicole Richie, Courteney Cox, and Rachel Zoe. And the party wasn't just open to adults, since kids were there as well.

The party featured both pink and blue decorations, with many green and yellow gift baskets, as even Hudson isn't sure about the sex of the baby. But the actress did confess to Ellen DeGeneres that she believes the baby is a girl.

She told the daytime TV star, "Everything's been so different, which is why I think it's a girl."

This is Hudson's second child. She has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.
