Full House Remake Officially Stalled
For those of you dying to know what Uncle Jesse, D. J., Stephanie, and the rest of the Tanner clan are up to, be prepared to shed some tears. The Full House remake is off.
News of a possible Full House reunion/makeover came about when it was reported that John Stamos, who played supercool Uncle Jesse, was pursuing the idea. E! is reporting that Stamos is no longer on board with it.
A source who was working on the project told E!, "We couldn't make the deal. It's completely dead right now."
Candace Cameron Bure, who played older sister D. J., recently said to OK! magazine that she and Jodie Sweetin (middle sis Stephanie) were going to be involved as well.
"We would revive our characters today but as young women," she said.
However, there is hope that the show could find its way to television.
"It could happen in the future," the source added to E!
