Gandolfini Joins Sexual Healing

The Marvin Gaye biopic, Sexual Healing, has added James Gandolfini to its list of stars. Gandolfini will not only be acting in the movie, his production company, Attaboy Films, will also be producing the movie.

The film, "covers the life of Gaye from his parting with Motown to his self-imposed exile in Europe, and will include his relationship with Freddy Cousaert, the promoter who guided the singer through the recording of his biggest-selling album, Midnight Love, according to Variety.

Jesse L Martin, from Law and Order and Rent, has been attached to the film for a long time to play Gaye. Gandolfini is going to play Freddy Cousaert. Filming is set to begin April 15 on the Lauren Goodman script. Goodman will also direct the film. Filming is supposed to take place in Belgium, Los Angeles, and Massachusetts.
