Garrett Gets Tangled in the World Wide Web of Dating

Brad Garrett entrusts the Internet with finding his soul mate.

Brad Garrett, known for his roles in sitcoms such as Til Death and Everybody Loves Raymond, has decided that he is ready to look for the right woman.

While this search would require most individuals to frequent bars or answer classified advertisements, Garrett is lending his efforts to the world of digital entertainment.

His new show, Dating Brad Garrett, is set to appear via Internet-based entertainment platforms such as Crackle, YouTube and Hulu. It was created by Sony Pictures Television and details the comedian's search for his true love from a group of women that submit their profiles via the Internet.

Starting Thursday, interested participants can upload their applications to Crackle.com at Crackle.com/DateBrad. Crackle.com is owned by Sony Pictures Television.

According to Reuters.uk, Garrett expressed excitement about doing the show, saying that it was perfect, "as I am in the midst of a midlife crisis and thus averse to pain." He also hoped that women "of all shapes, sizes and colors be compelled to submit their videos."

Dating will be available on the Crackle's C-Spot channel, along with Google's YouTube, AOL Video, Hulu and Verizon's V Cast service. Signals will also direct to Sony Bravia TVs via the Bravia video link.

With this much exposure, Garrett should have no problem finding Ms. Right; let's hope they share other connections besides just electronic ones.
