Garrett Uses Racial Slur Towards Paparazzo
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, actor Brad Garrett used racial slurs in reference to a paparazzo who was photographing him on Tuesday.
The leader of an Arab Anti-Discrimination group has now opened an invitation to Garrett to learn about different cultures.
"We'd be happy to reach out to Mr. Garrett and his crew to help educate him about the Arab/Muslim/Sikh communities," Nawar W. Shora, director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, told RadarOnline.com. "Sinking down to racial and ethnic slurs is very disappointing and highlights the need for a greater understanding. . . . There's so many stereotypes there and we're at a time and place now where we should be past that."
In the incident on Tuesday, Garrett shouted at a photographer that he be spoken to in English. He then turned to the photographer and yelled, "Wear the turban! Wear the turban!"
