George Clooney has no desire to run for office

Despite making high profile political appearances Clooney said he has no desire for his name to be on the ballot.

Even though he has recently made speeches at the U.N., George Clooney said he has no desire to run for office.

Clooney is the second major political-orientated celebrity to say he has no desire to run for office. Last week, Sean Penn also said he had no desire to hold office.

"Believe me, you don't want me in politics," Clooney told reporters, according to the Associated Press. Clooney was appearing at a Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger sponsored event to help stop genocide in Dafur.

Clooney also recalled the time he and the Governor stared in a movie together, "Batman & Robin."

"He's gone on to be governor, and I still think I'm Batman," Clooney said, the wire service reported.
