British actor Ralph Fiennes is set to make his directing debut with a film adaptation of William Shakespeare's political stage drama, "Coriolanus." It looks like Gerard Butler will play the second lead, Tullus Aufidius, commender of the Volscian army.
Butler will join a cast that includes William Hurt, Eddie Marsan, Jessica Chastain and Vanessa Redgrave. Fiennes will also act as the title character.
Shooting is set to begin in Serbia in March.
Gerard Butler is currently in theaters staring in "Law Abiding Citizen." Ralph Fiennes recently stared in "The Reader" with Kate Winslet.
