'Glee' will have an action-packed second half season.

It’ll be a Glee-ful spring this year.

Executive producer Ryan Murphy spilled some secrets to People magazine about Glee’s second half of its premiere season. Be prepared for more musical numbers, more drama, and more celebrity guest stars!

Murphy tells People a new character will be introduced named Jesse (Jonathan Groff) who will act as a love interest for Lea Michele, while Puck (Mark Salling) becomes a ladies’ man.

Guest stars Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel return and Neil Patrick Harris hops on the Glee bandwagon too. Murphy tells People he didn’t want the show to become like The Love Boat, so the number of guest stars this season was limited.

Look for musical tributes to Lady Gaga, Aerosmith’s Steve Perry, and an episode-long homage to Madonna comprising 10 of her songs.
People reports “Vogue” is one of the expected numbers.
