G.I. Joe Movie Trailer Will Debut During the Super Bowl

Moviegoers prepare themselves for another cartoon-based action film.

According to MTV Movies Blog, a 30-second sneak preview of the film, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, was released on the Web just one day before its television debut during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The movie will star actor Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans, and Sienna Miller.

The film's director is Stephen Sommers, who also directed all three Mummy films.

The writers of the G.I. Joe movie are Stuart Beattie, who also wrote the movies Australia and 30 Days of Night, plus David Elliot and Paul Lovett, who both wrote the Mark Wahlberg film, Four Brothers.

After seeing the trailer, it will be up to fans to decide if the movie will be a hit or a miss.

The film will be released on August 7.
