Gilmore Girls' couple splits
Gilmore Girls' actress Alexis Bledel and her boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia have called it quits, according to PEOPLE magazine. The two were together for three and a half years.
Bledel and Ventimiglia shared romance on and off the screen. Onscreen, Bledel plays Yale student Rory Gilmore, while Ventimiglia has a recurring role as her on-again, off-again boyfriend, bad boy Jess. Off-screen, the two kept a low-key relationship.
In September, Bledel revealed to PEOPLE.com that the couple had talked about marriage. "I think everybody who has been dating for more than a couple of years probably talks about it at some point. It's a fun thing for us to talk about, but that's it."
This fall, Bledel will return onscreen as Rory in '"Gilmore Girls'" on the new CW network. Ventimiglia's future is at NBC, as he will star in a new superhero series '"Heroes." You'll also see Ventimiglia on the big screen when he plays Rocky Balboa, Jr. in the upcoming Rocky sequel.
