Gilmore Girls Star Returns to the Small Screen
ABC didn't want to let go of "Let It Go," a new comedy series starring "Gilmore Girls" actress Lauren Graham.
Variety magazine reports that ABC has given the comedy pilot the green light. Graham will play a self-help "guru" and talk show host, always advising women to let things go. However, when her "perfect" guy dumps her, she can't follow her on advice of "letting things go."
Alex Herschlag of "Will & Grace" is the writer and executive producer of the show. Graham herself will be a producer and juggle the filming of the pilot along with her upcoming Broadway show of "Guys and Dolls" according to TV Guide.
"Let it Go" is one of two pilots ABC picked up. The other, "The New Twenty," follows two friends, at 40, in different stages of their life. One has a newborn and the other has a kid about to begin college.
