Kimberley Walsh, a British singer-songwriter who achieved chart-topping success as a member of U.K. pop group Girls Aloud, is set to take on the role of Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, which opened in London’s West End in June.

Walsh, 29, was expected to begin performing as Princess Fiona in December, but she will be taking over two months earlier because of Amanda Holden’s pregnancy, according to the BBC.

Holden, a judge on Britain’s Got Talent who lost a baby seven months into her pregnancy back in February, will end her run on October 3. Holden and her husband, Chris Hughes, announced Wednesday that she is expecting a girl.

“My first priority is, of course, my family,” she wrote on her official website. “I will therefore be adjusting one of my professional commitments accordingly. I ask you to bear with me as I will be putting myself and this pregnancy first.”

Walsh’s starring role in Shrek the Musical will mark her return to the West End, as her guest appearance as Eponine in Les Miserables was documented in ITV2’s The Passions of Girls Aloud in 2008.
