The Girls Next Door to Get Spin-Offs
If you can't get enough of Hugh Hefner's favorite Playboy bunnies, even after four seasons of The Girls Next Door, you have no reason to worry, according to Hefner. The Playboy mogul told E! Online that all three of the show's stars are likely to get spin-offs.
Rumors have been circulating that tensions between the three Playboy bunnies have forced the youngest of The Girls Next Door stars, Kendra Wilkinson, to move out of the Playboy Mansion and score a spin-off deal for her own series.
Hefner said he believes Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt will star in spin-offs, as well.
"I think all three girls are likely to get spin-offs," Hefner said. "I think they will be interconnected to the main show, and we will all appear on both."
Hefner, along with Madison, Marquardt and Wilkinson, will kickoff their fifth season of The Girls Next Door with its premiere on Oct. 5. The stars have already signed on for a sixth season.
"It's amazing. We're about to launch season five, and we're committed to doing season six," Hefner said. "We thought it would be a one-season wonder."
Season five highlights will include a wedding in Las Vegas, a vacation in New Orleans for Mardi Gras and Hefner's birthday party in Las Vegas.
